Here follows a storyboard test I did couple of weeks ago while applying for an internship.
The original test was to get a interesting story out of a rather tame premise:
-Use any or all of the four predetermined characters:
Old lady/granny, a boyscout, a dog and the cat.
-The cat is in the tree, get the cat down safely.
-Make it funny, entertaining... appealing drawings....etc etc
-Oh and get it done in 60 panels max.
I did not want to turn it into a Tex Avery cartoon, you can't outdo Tex Avery at his own game.
My approach was to be a bit more serious, "How would these characters react to something that they were not expecting, something completely out of the blue?"
